Synopsis:
Old Pettersson and his cat Findus are back! A cold and dark winter lies behind them, so Pettersson is looking forward to his annual spring gardening as always — but this time, his cat Findus is lending a hand, even though he has absolutely no interest in the dirty garden. As a reward for Findus’s hard work, he wants to throw a birthday party … for the third time this year! No sooner said than done, and all sorts of guests are invited, who, much to Findus’s displeasure, are very late. So the two reminisce about their fishing trip last fall and revel in their memories — but just then, the guests knock on the door, bringing plenty of food with them. Before Findus knows it, though, his delicious meatballs are gobbled up by the chickens! To make sure the chickens stay in their pen and enjoy the earthworms there, Findus keeps watch all night. The fox might come, after all. But then Findus’s eyes start to close! Luckily, the fox wasn’t there, but he wakes up to a herd of cows ruthlessly trampling the entire vegetable patch. It seems there’s never any peace at Pettersson and Findus’s place …
